Who runs this site
Stone Lane Ledger is a private, non-commercial website operated by the administrator of the Stone Lane property in Placerville, California, on behalf of the property's co-owners. It exists for one purpose: keeping the group's shared accounts. It has no customers, no advertising and no paid services.
What we store
Account details — the email address you sign in with, and a password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and name from that provider and nothing more.
Ledger records— the property's income and expenses (mortgage, tax, insurance, utilities, repairs, rent and owner payments), which structure each entry belongs to, the date, and which signed-in person entered it. The ledger is append-only: entries are never silently altered or deleted.
Nothing else. No analytics trackers, no advertising cookies, no selling or sharing of data. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in.
Who can see it
Only approved co-owners and the administrator. A new account has no access at all until the administrator assigns it a role. Owners see their own structure's figures and the shared totals; only the administrator can view everything and make entries. These rules are enforced inside the database itself, not just on the page you see.
Where it lives
The site is hosted by Vercel and the database and sign-in service are provided by Supabase, both in the United States. All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Neither company uses the data for any purpose of its own.
Your choices
You can change your password at any time from the sign-in page. If you leave the ownership group, your account is closed; your past ledger entries remain, because they are part of the group's permanent financial record.
